Since metamodern artworks typically oscillate between modernist and postmodern sensibilities, it's not unusual that any given example of metamodernism can seem like "just more postmodernism" to some people. Perhaps you could pick one or two of the examples I used in my article that you, yourself, are familiar with, and I can make an attempt to show why they are not reducible to the postmodern sensibility.
